The AutoMailMerge plug-in supports data access to Microsoft Access database files and Microsoft Excel spreadsheets via ODBC drivers provided by Microsoft. Please visit Microsoft Download Center to download 32-bit or 64-bit Microsoft Office ODBC drivers. If you have Microsoft Office apps installed on your computer, then you do not need to download these drivers.

When to use it?

You only need to download and install the ODBC drivers in one of the following cases:

• To access data stored in Microsoft Access database files in *.MDB and *.ACCDB formats.
• To access data stored in Microsoft Excel files in *.XLSM, *.XLSB formats.
• To select records from Access or Excel files with SQL SELECT statements.

Please note that AutoMailMerge provides direct support for Microsoft Excel spreadsheets in XLS and XLSX formats without use of ODBC drivers.
